Kale Smoothie

Smoothies are a wonderful way to start the day. Even on a cold day, I still make smoothies almost every day. My goal is to have everyone in our house have a green smoothie every day. This smoothie has just the right flavor, with the stevia offsetting the kale. You can leave out the stevia if you wish, but I have a sweet tooth and enjoy the sweetness.

In this particular smoothie, I put in some pineapple. You can add other fruit as well. Othertimes, I put in blueberries in place of the pineapple, or strawberries, or mango, whatever.

Kale Smoothie
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 banana
  • 2 cups kale
  • ½ cup pineapple (or blueberries)
  • 1 packet stevia
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  1. Put all the ingredients in a blender, in the listed order. Blend well.
  2. Makes about 24 - 32 oz.
